That’s a really great story. It must be good to have a query answered with so much detail, first the guy whose family bought the site, then back another step to a woman who lived there before it was pulled down AND had photos.
We had wood stoves up until 1965 so I remember the orange and black striped tins of stove black, though I didn’t remember the name was ‘Zebo’.
